This cozy little spot is wonderful! I had the beef tenderloin entree and it was cooked perfectly. The crispy potatoes on the side and the sauce were also delicious. My friend had the salmon and she said it was also delicious. We enjoyed the bread and they had a great wine selection. Service was also good even though we came close to closing time. I can't wait to go back!
Food was outstanding. Grilled swordfish with orange sauce. Pair with wilted spinach and fingerlings potatoes. Service was great too.
Last time I was there the food was delicious as were the drinks. They also have a nice selection of vegan options, much more than other similar restaurants in our area.
My family took me here for a Sunday brunch for my birthday. It was our first visit, but definitely will not be our last. Service was great and food was wonderful! We had reservations for our meal and that is highly recommended for the brunch. Looking forward to our next visit!

1892 is in a unique part of town. The food was very solid all around. Green tomatoes were good as always. Crème brûlée was great too. Not much to complain about except maybe the high prices. But when you go to a place like this you probably aren't worried about saving money. Solid food and service.
1892 serves fresh farm to table food. I like that. Great place for groups. Server, Kailey was exceptional in juggling multiple orders, and keeping everything going, all while maintaining a friendly demeanor and a nice smile. My dining companions raved about the tenderloin steak. The pork ragu was tender and tasty. The freshly baked rolls are melt in your mouth good. 1892 is located in what appears to be a mostly residential neighborhood. The inside is cozy and quiet. I liked that. 1892 remains committed to serving fresh food, from local farmers to nurture and support the greater Huntsville community. Good wine selection by the glass and/or bottle. Well done!
